This maybe picky but I am going to ask anyway...
Here is the situation.... 4th quarter with only two probable possessions for your offense..... there is a big difference being down by 10 points or being behind by 11 points. behind by 10 points if you have a 4th down you can choose to kick a FG (if in range) and hope to get a hold and then a touchdown.... to tie behind by 11 you should go for it on 4th downs because a FG does you no good.. There is no option for that in the playbook..... score = behind by 7-11 points... is there anyway to have the choices more accurate up to a certain score? i see what hes saying very good suggestion would give more range as to how to run the offense not sure why this couldnt be implemented, would be same as now just with a tweak to the score ranges.
1-3 4-6 7-10 11-14 14+ mostly cause anything after 2 scores in this game with no timeout options pretty much requires 1 option on offense and thats the long ball |

Was wondering about this for awhile and this was all I could find about it. No one has made the suggestion of the playbook score options for
"Ahead/Behind by" being 1-3, 4-7, 8-10, 11+ ...... ? |

I would like to see the points listed numerically in order and just put a + symbol behind it. The same with yards to go, much like the drop down when awarding training points in your youth academy except with the + symbol behind it, so it would look like;
even 1+ 2+ 3+ 4+ etc. It would allow us to be more specific with our playbook and in my case, eliminate some plays in my playbook. |

That might be better if there was a 2 point conversion. But now I see only the same 4 situations. Field goal to tie or win 1-3, a TD to tie or win 4-7, 2 scores field goal and a TD to tie or win 8-10, or lastly 2 TDs or more to tie or win 11+..
. Edit: because now being 7 points behind your strategy is the same as if your 10 points behind which should not be. Your behind by 7 points with 8 minutes left and its 4th n 4 from the opp 8. A little off topic.
Another consideration for a playbook change has to do with the Distance to Goaline. The current options of choosing 5-yard increments just isn't practical for the field goal kickers. As a kicker gains experience and skill one might try to increases is range from 35 yards to 36 or 37 yards, but currently you have to choose increase in 5 yard increments. I don't see it as a huge issue as everyone has to play by the same rules but at the same time it's not very realistic especially in gameplay. Knowing that your opponent will only try field goals at 30 35 or 40 yard distances, during normal gameplay. |

I think the last 3 suggestions are really good. I woild even more like to see us able to manually input the yards/score of our choice.
So we could be as specific as we choose and this would help eliminate a lot of tedium in creating and then changing the playbook. |
