I really enjoy golf games. They aren't manager games but here are my favorite.
WTG where you play in real courses, and ShotOnline witch it's more like a mmorpg.
I played many others but these are the ones i recommend.

Got to agree on WGT, been on that for a few years.

Not a true manager per se - but I do love me some Blood Bowl .... weird fantasy themed hybrid of rugby + american football.

I just love the way they balanced out the teams. If you play one of the finesse races like elves - you WILL eventually roll bad enough to have a player die on the field. Play a race like the Norsemen or dwarves and you might get burned on the occasional pass, but you will wreck people in the trenches. There's always the trade off between speed, strength, skill and toughness in the players you can get.

I remember playing the board game, it was fun. Is there an online way to play without owning the game?

Used to play Power Play Manager in those days when still was old design. New one make to much scrolling, not very nice for my eyes. Old days looks way more simple. Now there too much comercial and etc. Still logging on just to keep hockey team alive. Maybe one day... Also playing buzzerbeater, hockey-dynasty and brokenbat

I'll have to check that out ... Cyanide has really killed their game by splintering the community by putting out a new version about every 6 months ... and yet another new one on the way (followed by the inevitable DLCs). The community isn't stupid, they know when their wallet is being milked.

"Are you on Legendary edition? Nope I'm on Dark Elves edition. Oh but the other half of the league is on Chaos edition. And the few that were going to join said they're waiting for BB2 now."

I was thinking about messing about with FOF7 since it's on Steam now, and Steam must've told the developer his game wasn't worth $45 ... it started at $25 there.

I haven't logged in for a while but there's a great Strategy game called Conquer Club.

It's based on a board game I used to play called Risk.... Highly recommended.

Not exactly a sports management game - the management part is not very big - but I am addicted to the football simulation at dolpinsim
