Come on guys - 2 weeks already in the books and still no season thread?
That needs to change 
Obviously as a new team, I am more than happy with my 1-1 start to my first season in Fire 1.1. And at least, we were not completely destroyed by Maykop today 1 win against relegation in the books, needed overtime, but I will take it  |

Thanks for starting the thread. I'm hoping to finally make it to the Elite League this season but it certainly won't be an easy road in the PO. Both Lions team will be very hard to beat and the Knights are always tough to play... A couple of other teams could also create a few surprises.
ROMA, Cowboys, Maykop, Destroyers and Spiders all look good too in the other conference. Good luck everyone  |

Just noticed: this is my first season in 1.1 without regular season game against Eagles. I quess that's why Becko predicts 15.9 wins for us

I will nominate Destroyers-Patriots as (one of) the game(s) of the week for round 4. There are other worthy contenders, for sure. Though here we have a game, with both teams from a division where all 4 teams are tied at 2-1, and the other two teams are starting as double-digit underdogs in their own matches. This is most likely a battle for control of the AC East, and the Destroyers will be 7 point favourites according to Becko's Betting Shop.
It's nice to see signs of life here. I like the write-ups, hope there will be more to come. Good luck to all this round! |

According to Becko the closest game this week should be ROMA at Mechanics with ROMA favorite by only 1 point. The Warriors will also be favored by only 2pts against the Ravens. Both games are divisional games as well so they could have serious PO implications down the road.
On the other extreme Spiders from Mars has the easiest game being a 62pts favorite against the newly promoted Black Devils. Hopefully a big loss here won't discourage the Devils too much. Also, weird game for me today. I play against the Lisbon Mightly Lions who have a solid team but they haven't logged in for over 21 days and should go bot anytime so I'm not sure what to expect. 
Always sad to see the good managers go

Since Becko unfortunately doesn't let us look at old predictions (yet) I'll post what the PO picture according to Becko looks like after 3 games here... I'll try to remember to u p d a t e it (maybe not each week though)

NC #1 Novosibirsk 15.4 W #2 Eagles 15.2 W #3 Mutineers 13.2 W #4 Lisbon 11.6 W #5 Knights 13.9 W #6 Farmers 11.9 W Close but out of the race: None, closest is Neroverde at 8.2W. Unfortunately Lisbon might go bot soon but this should shake things up a bit and at least give another team a chance to make the PO. |

I was a 20-point underdog, but my squad were playing well, and led 20-16 after three quarters.
After a shameful 4th quarter performance, it ended as a 44-23 loss. The accuracy of these projections is truly remarkable. How did he know that we would melt down like this?! Edit: The Mighty Lions are now bot. Last edited on 2015-08-19 05:52:06 by Bloodbeak |
