The issue of blitzing defenders who magically make an interception during the same play: was a wording issue. Based on the math it has to be "seems to go for a blitz", since the comment was created before the play actually happens. The calculcation in the engine then (after the comment was put there) is deciding if the blitz really happens. If it dies not happen, the defender can of course catch an interception.
Man, this took me nearly 2 hours to track it down... |

This could possibly be related to the blitzing issue I am seeing as well, since I am basing my blitz rate assumptions on what is in the play by play. Is there no way to know how often your players are actually blitzing? I'd love to know when/why my guys stop their assignments.

How lucky am I ?
5:26 1 and 10 to go on opp 37, Girolamo De Simone (OC) snaps the ball to Guerino Grando (QB), Guerino Grando (QB) selected Juan Pardo (WR/R) as target, Vicente Prater (DE/L) breaks through the line, Janko Hoffmann (FB/R) blocks, Romeo Ware (OLB/L) seems to go for the blitz, he passes inner right for 11 yards to him, intercepted by Romeo Ware (OLB/L) on the opp 26 (Shotgun 4 WR vs. 3-3-5) Pete I seem to act as a magnetic attractor for this kind of super-actions, I think I deserve a prize when you'll find the solution |

Maybe? Last edited on 2017-06-14 07:12:14 by Jonny Utah |

I'd like to know what stops him from going it. Ware should be getting a lot more sacks than he does. Seems like he choose to abandon the blitz quite often...

In fact Pete corrected the wording since the previous issues, meaning that the player renounces to the blitz to cover for the pass.
It was only a joke to highlight that my QB's style often activates this kind of special play, that seems to outcome more frequently to me than any other team around. |
