It is my opinion there should be more player injuries, and the amount of injuries a player sustains should be based on the number of plays the player accumulates in regular season action (not friendlies)

I have a couple of good reasons:

1. The more a player plays, the more Experience the player gets. So, if you play a player every down in every game, this maximizes his Experience. But, a good coach in real life would rest his players to reduce injuries. IE there are not enough injuries in this game simulation.

2. Some of the best, by record, team owners, are taking advantage of this now by only having 50 players on their roster and playing the same guys ALL the time. This is the opposite of TEAM. Maybe Uberman, but not TEAM.

Like I said, My Opinion,

I would only agree to this if the injuries length were shorter.

As one weeks or 7 days is 4 to 6 game that a player can't play not one.

Right now many injuries last form 3-28days
Which means a player can miss 2-3to 8-12 games

But in game injuries seem high enough. As I seen as many as 4to5 players out at one time.

Just for your information: I suggested this several times, others as well - but the majority voted it down all the time.

Seems most of the manager dislike to deal with injuries. IMO it would create another level of game fun if we have more injuries....

Me, talking about training injuries, btw

Common NFL Injuries and Recovery Times

This article gives a reasonable idea of the type of injuries commonly seen these days plus the average expected time of recovery.

Though it is worth noting that some players that can get the same type of injury too often have been forced to take early retirement, especially repeat injuries to do with trauma to the neck and back.

It those type of injuries that some managers are scared of as they do not want to loose a top player any earlier than the age of 30.

Also it should also be noted that some injuries can be season ending even from Week 1.

Personally I am in agreement with more injuries hitting a squad as long as they are realistic with the recovery time and I would accept a season ending injury on a player if it happened and season rollover would have to compensate for the difference in real life and the game time period between the end of one season and the start of the next. Remember there is 7 months off-season in real life.

With a level 20 Physiotherapist you can reduce the resting time to 50%. Thats not realistic. The influence of the medical staff should be lower.

If there are more injuries related to played snaps, players need a medical record in their players profile. Than it's easier to see for managers, that a player, who plays too much, is also hurt more often.

To avoid, that managers play players every snap (to increase their EXP faster), players must gain more experience for less snaps.
