Seadevils Today #1
Here we go! A new season, and soon a new Champ! Thirty-two teams will battle to succeed to Cool-Runnings. Everybody has still in memory the epic Finale of Season 20 and its brillant interception at 35 seconds of the end of the game. It is almost impossible to tell who will win the Bowl this year as no less than 8 to 10 teams could pretend to bring it home. But for you, Seadevils Today will give you its Top 3 for the season: 1/ Naprzód Marsz!: With a 8-8 record on Elite, the Polishes had nothing to be ashamed of. Playing maybe in the easiest division of the league, they will be able to manage smoothly their season. Be careful, it may end up with 16-0 record! 2/ Munich Runners: Last season, they lost 4 games. Three against the futur champion including a conference championship and the last one against the Bowl runner-up. Both team are not here anymore and the Runners are not in the Naprzód Marsz! conference. Reach the Bowl is possible and then, there is only one step left to climb. 3/ NOtown ~MYST1CS~ : This is a longer shot than the two previous teams. But NOtown ~MYST1CS~ looks like a future champ. Their losses last season were close and their curve of progress looks great. If there is a surprise, it may come from them! But rigth now, lets focus on the Game of the WeekGame of the Week 1! It is a tough choice as there is no direct game including two play-off candidates. But let's book our tickets for this game. A game that will smell ligth beer and greasy sausage. You got it, we will watch New German Cheeseheads @ Munich Runners. If the Runners want to confirm their status, a win will be an obligation. For the New German Cheeseheads, it will be about to prove they are not that far from the top level like they did last year losing only by 4 points in Munich. Our forecast: 14 - 24 After leading 14 - 10 at half time, the experience will take over and the Runners win thanks to an early TD in 4th. See you next week for a new edition of Seadevils Today. Seadevils Today #2
Week 1 Recap The season is launched! And as expected the favorite for the Bowl Naprzód Marsz! got an easy win against the promoted Dublin Dragons. This win make them first of the AC conference. All the other big teams of the conference won without too much trouble. On the other conference, we will of course talk about the Game of the Day between the New German Cheeseheads and theMunich Runners. Seadevils Today forecasted 14-24 for the Runners. The final score is prety close with indead a Runners' win 16 - 28. The suspense was big as the win was only sealed during the last 5 minutes of the game with a crutial interception on the Runners' goal line leading to the last TD of the game. Upset of the week Not a huge upset, but still worth to be noticed. The Schrodingers Cats managed to defeatthe NC East division champ Tyrolean Twix's. Behind most of the game, the Cats had to score twice in the last 5 minutes to win the game with the last one at 0:22. Incredible! Next Game of the Week This is an easy one. The game nobody can miss in Week 2 is Munich Runners @ Naprzód Marsz!. It smells like a Bowl repetition. The last time those two teams faced each other resulted to a Polish win by 1. We are forecasting the same gap for this match-up: 23-24 See you next week for a new edition of Seadevils Today. |
