I forecast a Belgium v France final.
The French are notoriously good in big tournaments in their own country and look very strong. You can never rule out Germany but I think they are a little short of the class of past tournaments, similar to Spain. Belgium need to show up for an event and I think this is the one where they can shine. Kompany is a big miss for them, but if their forwards fire, they look full of goals and attacking flair. Their route may not be the easiest, but they certainly have the class to make the final. Dark horses I would suggest to be Croatia and Austria. England....quarter finals at absolute best, as soon as they come up against any team with a bit of quality about them they will be found out.....again. Should be a great tournament though, which I just hope passes without incident away from the pitches.... |

For this Matchup either one of your finalists would need to finish second in their group. Not unlikley, but I see France winning their group, means, Belgium would need to finish second and probably Italy winning it.
I have no clue who will win, but the field of teams with a chance is quite large. |

Russia haven't looked good for ages. could be a test but player for player aren't. Slovakia should be simple really. I doubt they'll get far though with their defence. |
