Congrats to OrangeCrush and Marauders for their wins in Conference Championships matches this Season !
It will be pretty hard in Elite next Saison, however, you should enjoy that experience. 
For the Orcs, well, in playing Conference Championship this season, was actually more than we were expecting, since we had faced a similar Situation as Marauders do now, 2 seasons ago in removing all the old (but expensive) buddies from the Team and start again. |

GG Crush, I would've missed BADLY on the over/under if I had been betting on that one. Really expected a defensive battle with both offenses struggling to move, but both teams seemed to move the ball really well on the ground.
Also, OLB Milton Johnston, announced his retirement just hours after the Galaxy Bowl. The last of my "Elite ready" players, heading out the door. 
Career Stats: 894 career tackles (87%), 195 sacks, 24 Int, 11 FF, 14 FR, 19 DefTD, and 1 rush for 6 yds (the rare double FB injury ... lol). Player Stats: 48.7 Str (red), 48.4 Spd (red), 44.4 Agl (red) 39.7 Int, 42.6 Tmw, 4.5* XP 47 Tkl (red), 47 Vis (red), 43.1 Pos, 20 Foot, 18 Cat, 15 Car. Trait: Sure Tackler. Clearly the better team yesterday won. I was lucky to keep the score close with that defensive TD and amazingly had a chance to win it in the 4th quarter, but your D completely shut my passing game down so respect 
I just had 3 retirements but I absolutely doubt, that I will be competitive in Elite, especially with the Blitzkrieg and the Pup Gang in our division. But tanking is not in my DNA, so lets see how much wins we can get for Galaxy  Last edited on 2016-09-21 09:05:43 by OrangeCrush |

Yeah with Steve and Toni sitting at #1/#3 in Beckos respectively, it really looks like a rough upcoming season ...
The last time I was able to go 5-5 against non-division opponents, but only 1-5 against the division (split with Mermaids, and got trashed by Blitz & Vulcans). But I don't expect I'll be able to pull off .500 outside the division this time around. With a rookie QB going into his 2nd season, one properly developed WR, one FB that's decent by 1.1 standards, but will have fumblitis in Elite, and a woefully underdeveloped OL ... I really can't picture my D being able to carry that mess of an offense. Unless of course, everyone outside the top 10 teams goes into tank-a-thon mode. Galaxy was only 10 points from winning all three of the big titles...the Elite League Championship, the SuperCup and the CofC.
Landru managed to eliminate me in the first round of the SuperCup and then took down Toni in the finals in a tough fought game. Looking forward to competing with Midnight Marauders and OrangeCrush next season. Best of luck to all the Galaxy teams! Steve SD Blitz |
