The Coaches setuo won't change. It does what it should, causing diversity. It causes making decisions. It causes scouting an opponent to be more deep than just scouting players and tactics (just wonder why I never heard this hint "check his Coaches setup")...

Sorry but with respect .. I think you are wrong.

The majority of teams have pretty much the same coaching set-up. There are a few position coaches that are unfilled in the vast majority of teams. Whilst every team will have QB, WR, OL etc coaches usually around the same strength.

If anything it reduces diversity - teams are likely to go with RB or FB limiting their formation options.

What should happen is :

-Ditch the CP limit
-Introduce a salary cap that covers players and coaches
-Look at how you can balance out the coaches more (eg buff the impact of a ST coach, increase the cost of QB coaches or whatever) and try and get it so that are all reasonably as popular as each other
-Maybe change the rules so G and KR can play anywhere else (with a small OOP penalty) to encourage teams to go down the ST route and gain training from a good ST coach

This would create diversity ... as teams would have free reign to hire whatever coaches they want but at the expense of their playing roster.

Fair doos ... its your game.

Would be worth thinking though about how to balance the coaches a bit more so they are all of relatively equal popularity.

ST is something you could do a lot more with as a starter.

Okay, so I have a CP 51 SF coach that I’m paying $33k per update. He is essentially providing almost no “in game” benefit to me because that Basic Coaching staff is equivalent to a CP 50 coach – so I’m paying $33k for 1 CP SF skill bonus in game, right? What about the experience & consistency of my CP 51 coach – does that provide any benefit over the basic CP 50 coach?

So if I fire my CP 51 coach, I wouldn’t being using all my CP points on coaches so my Extra Training points will drop every update.

I could re-distribute the points to other coaches (which might cost more than $33k) and get greater benefit. In essence, adding an addition coach – the first 50 CP points spent, provides no “in game” benefit over the basic coach – so it’s kind of a waste to have too many coach, no?

For example, if you have 8 coaches, you’re spending 400 CPs just to bring them up to “basic” at 50. Leaving just 150 CPs to distribute above the “basic” level.

Now if you have 6 coaches, you’re spending only 300 CPs to bring them up to “basic”, thus leaving 250 points to distribute above the “basic” level.

that coach gives you more than 1 CP, he has also impact in the game and he has also impact on the YA-training points.
