If there is a thread for this already I missed it.

Thoughts on opening weekend (so far)? I'm a longtime (33rd season) Giants fan so this is something of a novelty, starting the season 1-0 for the first time since 2010. I was one of many who thought Victor Cruz would never play another down in the NFL so I'm more than happy to eat my words, it was great to see the salsa dance return last night. Definite improvement on recent seasons, lets see if we can keep it going.

Some crazy games last night, really enjoyed Packers-Jags and the finish to Raiders-Saints.

Colts vs Lions was also great yesterday and the Pats winning without -G.O.A.T- was very impressive. Belismart is just amazing.

But most importantly the Eagles started the season with a W albeit against the Browns

Was glued infront of the computer for the Titans - Vikes game ofcourse. Not happy 'bout the first half of Vikes gameplay, but Titans was the better team in the first. Then in the second half vikes d started to work and got onto Mariota, forced him to make the misstakes and thats when the turnovers came Shaun Hill played calm during the offence and didn't do any misstakes, and that was won them the game. I belive that vikes have to rely on the D evenmore this season. Just hope that bradford can contribute to the offence so vikes can be the bowlteam that they are

(Vikingsfan if u couldn't guess that )

Can anyone tell me how Martellus Bennett did last night?

I only watched the highlights since kickoff was in the middle of the night, and I can't recall seeing Bennett even once in those highlights.

Bennett's major contribution last night came as a blocker in the run game. As a pass catcher, he only went 3 receptions for 14 yards.

Jags were awesome hats off to them, they made us work for it. Very exciting game to start!

Definitely, although I always felt Packers slighty edged it. However the reliance of the Pack on Rodger's brilliance reeks a lot like last season where we won the first 6 games for them. Not too confident yet.

Yeah, no -G.O.A.T-, no Gronk, no Lewis, and both starting tackles out ... I had penciled that one in as a L for the Pats. Cannon was a turnstile filling in for Vollmer last year, nice to see Scarnechia back coaching the O Line there.

As a Ravens' fan, I felt ashamed after Q1. And then, the Browns played like the Browns!

After Jimmy is also out now, I actually hope that Brissett gets hurt too (nothing too serious, just something that keeps him benched for like a quarter), so that we get to see our #4 QB again, who has an 100% pass completion percentage and who averages 1 TD per pass in the NFL.
