It didn't provide stats. That is trickier to be honest. I was creating a file in excel to provide analysis of the info but life has gotten busy. I'll get it soon.

As jagreen says it's only goes to the D formation used. The rest of the text of the play description is a lot harder to dissect due to the different types of language used to describe.

I might spend some time on that but it's not a priority right now.

I do it in excel all the time. Use if statements with quotations around target words and for each play type or blitz whatever then use concatenate, then use left to get the first letter and then if again to rename it.

Hello Krytical,

I have the same issue actually. Are you using Excel and if so, what version?

Can you also PM me your email address so I can send you a test sheet for you to try.

i had the same issue of header only until i realized i can't read and was trying to paste info in B1 instead of A2.
not saying this is your issue but once i pasted it in the correct box, it worked as it should. thanks for this tool, btw. as an older fellow with not the greatest excel skills, i know i for one appreciate it.

Hmmm, I can't get this thing to work consistently .... sometimes it works, but often it just creates an empty sheet (with headers only).

However, I did have a very quick look at one of the successful runs and noticed a small bug. It showed one of my FB's as a HB. At first, I thought it might be an in-game injury or depth chart issue. But, upon closer examination, I realised that it was showing one of my FB's as "HB/R" in a Shotgun formation, obviously this can't be correct as there are no HB's on the field in a Shotgun formation.
I found several plays like that, including one for the opposition team too.

Good spot. Will investigate this later in the week.

Re the failed runs, I might post a second version that you can try when it fails. Will PM you on Friday.
