Unfortunately, I did not have much time to set up my draft order, so I got stuck with a 21 year-old DL with strength already capped at 49.6.

At least there is no cap yet at all on his speed (35.2), so maybe I can still make something useful out of him. And if his speed caps too early, maybe I will switch him to punter or kicker. Both of those skills are already close to 17.

Holy moly, had him at 2 and that was only because of his age. Same as Buddy's WR pickup, had him high too but slightly lower because of his age, I reckon he'll be delighted with his 1st round.

unfortunately my WRs AGI is yellow, but with 50 Speed and 42 STR his physicals should still be quite ok I hope, and hes got that catching-trait. I guess he only fell to me because of his age, but with 3,5 XP already I should be able to get him on the field relatively soon since WR-draftees skills are quite good anyway and dont take too much time to train up to starter level. so all in all, I really like my pick

Yeah, I had that WR rated pretty high.

I ended up with Fabian Wagner...a decent TE. Will still end up selling him at some point though...

Close. You want to use a question mark at the end of the question rather than a period. Also remember that a silly picture is optional.

As for my pick. I play a lot of poker so I am known to gamble. The DL was the safest pick there was also an FB that had great physicals as well. The age/exp ratio, talent potential and the rising cost of high intelligence on the TM is what motivated the pick. Also my pick does have a trait where the DL didn't.

That said my player is capped. Risk didn't payoff this time. WR coming off the board for the 2nd round.

I had your guy at 1, didn't he have 2 traits?
Ahh, my bad, it was Ty Jessup that had the 2 traits.

Yeah, whats up, I got a 50 Strength, uncapped speed, 45 Intelligence, Stone Wall interior lineman at 31st pick

How is it even possible that that guy dropped to 31 in the Elite League?? OLs like that are few and far between in drafts in my experience. At least I have guys like that pumping out of my youth academy.

Looks like I'll be playing for second place for a while yet if that keeps up.

Yeah the only sure thing OL dropped to pick 32 in G1.1's draft as well. 20yo, 48.5 Str, Pass Blocker with 3.5* XP ... looked like a lot of LB picks where one or both phys were gambles ate up most of the middle.

Guess the rising price of Int on the TM most likely explains folks flat out ignoring some nice OL prospects. And at least on the Str gamble LB picks, if you miss - it does tend to at least make a nice CB.

I had to take the sure thing beast DE in Gois. There were a lot of sexy boom or bust picks, but I had Gois number 1 all the way. Manju, Derrick, Jessup and Baleko were all tempting linebackers. Delaney at FB and Aduledej at TE were interesting, but not as high as I was picking (I also love TE and FB so I may have been higher on them than most). I'm surprised Sudham fell that far as well, wow.
