Just with an

This text is there since...2 or 3 years. It is just a bit more prominent, and links to a page telling something about this. Overall RZA users are doing fine. And no, you are not missing anything with having IPv4 only. I would just love to see a more steady switch from IPv4 to IPv6, it would make my daily living a bit easier...we are spending big time at work to enable our infrastructure, and we should have done it years ago. We are lazy ones, too...but there are more lazier guys out there, knowing the issue for nearly 2 decades, and not doing anything. The time is over where IPv6 is a low flying topic, and therefore raising awareness on the customers side is appropiate

But there is really no advantage to IPv6. It's just that the 32-bit IPv4 address were running out so they needed to got to 128-bit addresses. That's the only significant difference.

I totally agree. I am with BT and a couple of months ago they decided to block a legitimate website. I contacted the website - they said they had spoken to BT and asked them to unblock. They were also asking users to complaint to BT. I did (and I suppose others did too). Result?

BT is still blocking this website. So in short there is nothing we can do so seeing the Boo message does not help.

Hi Jack,
Just upgrading my BT to Infinity and they gave me the new BT Hub 6 which is IPv6 set, so I am no longer getting the Boo message from Pete.

I had noticed the option when I was fooling around with VPN on my router at home, so it actually reminded me to go and turn it on. So thanks for that!

Thanks Bovakian,

I have BT infinity and had the BT Hub 5. I had a few problems which BT decided were caused by my router. So they kindly upgraded me to a Hub 4. No, that is not a typo! And, of course I am still getting this Boo message.

So I'm working from my sister's apartment today and it says "Nice, this is IPv6 - Congrats!" but I cannot see any difference, is IPv6 supposed to improve something in the background we can't see or is it something I should be able to notice?

Sorry for being completely clueless, I have no idea what I'm talking about but I'm curious
