Here's the idea: As soon as it looks like two or more people are turning a thread into their own personal argument (not having a go at people, i've been guilty of this on more than one occasion) it is down to any other user to post the word "THUNDERDOME!" at which point they must come to this thread to carry on their battle!

Two Charming Uncles Bopping to the Beat A Short Story by RZA Dreams gone wild Elizabeth MacDonald was thinking about Mildred Ramsbottom again. Mildred was a cute vicar with curvaceous eyebrows and grubby abs. Elizabeth walked over to the window and reflected on her Grand surroundings. She had always loved Peteness RZA with its flat, funkelplopping Footballs of Karma. It was a place that encouraged her tendency to feel sparkly. Then she saw something in the distance, or rather someone. It was the a cute figure of Mildred Ramsbottom. Elizabeth gulped. She glanced at her own reflection. She was a creepy, special, cocoa drinker with spiky eyebrows and wobbly abs. Her friends saw her as a witty, warm wally. Once, she had even helped a curly puppy recover from a flying accident. But not even a creepy person who had once helped a curly puppy recover from a flying accident, was prepared for what Mildred had in store today. The moon shone like boating monkeys, making Elizabeth sad. Elizabeth grabbed a solid banana that had been strewn nearby; she massaged it with her fingers. As Elizabeth stepped outside and Mildred came closer, she could see the yarbelicious glint in her eye. Mildred glared with all the wrath of 542 sympathetic faffdorking frogs. She said, in hushed tones, "I hate you and I want A football." Elizabeth looked back, even more sad and still fingering the solid banana. "Mildred, I am a social justice warrior," she replied. They looked at each other with stressed feelings, like two excited, evil elephants drinking at a very cold-blooded Playoffs, which had reggae music playing in the background and two charming uncles bopping to the beat. Elizabeth studied Mildred's curvaceous eyebrows and grubby abs. Eventually, she took a deep breath. "I'm sorry," began Elizabeth in apologetic tones, "but I don't feel the same way, and I never will. I just don't hate you Mildred." Mildred looked unstable, her emotions raw like a horrible, high-pitched hawk. Elizabeth could actually hear Mildred's emotions shatter into 6055 pieces. Then the cute vicar hurried away into the distance. Not even a mug of cocoa would calm Elizabeth's nerves tonight. THE END |
