Inbhir Narann @ Deflators
Inbhir Naraan broke the run of playoff bad luck by progresing to the AC Championship playoff game. They face joint bowl favourites Deflators who have a strong side. There its no question that this matchup is a heavyweight clash. Deflators find themselves in the playoffs after beating Wild Thangs 13-40. These sides have faced each other 3 times this season with Deflators taking all 3 games. Inbhir Naraan HC won't be available for the game and has released the following statement: I am away visiting the Vatican City, Mecca and Nepal to seek divine inspiration. I will also be speaking to MacBeth's three witches and the Voodoo leaders in Louisiana and Jamaica to put a hex on Deflators. Otherwise it has been a good season and at least I got to the Conference Final this time. All the best to Greg and his crew for Tuesday. I spoke to Deflators HC leading up to this tie and this is what he had to say: Deflators 1) Your playing a team you have faced and beaten 3 times this season, How do you prepare for a tie as big as this? We just have to take care of business like we have the other 3 times we've faced them. When you face a team 3 times in 1 season, you pretty much know what the other person's gonna try and do, so all you can do is execute better than the other guys, simple as that. 2) You will be back in the Elite if you win this tie, Do you feel your any more prepared for this level of game than you were last time round? I do feel more prepared, though I'm not sure how much of a difference it'll make. Elite league is stacked with teams that know how to win games. M. Divers @ Hucknall Broncos
These teams meet for the first time in there history. With Divers a favourite to make it back to the Elite league and joint favourite for the Bowl with the Deflators. At first glance at both teams and they appear to be evenly matched but Divers know how to do there homework and can make themselves very hard to beat. This will be an exciting matchup to watch. I spoke to both managers leading upto this tie and this is what they had to say: M. Divers 1) This is your first matchup against this opposition, does that make this tie harder to prepare for? Yes. With no past games there is no way to know how we match up. 2) You are joint favourites for the Bowl game, are you feeling the pressure to progress? No. We just feel fortunate to have made it this far. 3) You will be back in the Elite if you win this tie, Do you feel your any more prepared for this level of game than you were last time round? We have a better name picked out for playing in Elite in case we get lucky and make it. Last time we just went up as Divers but this time from day one we would be, "Elite Tankers". They love us in Elite. Hucknall Broncos 1) This is the first time you have played Divers, being the NC championship game does that make this matchup more difficult to prepare for? 2) If you progress to the Bowl, do you feel the Elite league is a level you are ready for? Such good ties these games. Each team deserves to get a shot in Elite but only two will. Good luck to all 4 teams, I'm not gonna name any winners, I van see scenarios why all 4 teams can win. I'm just gonna lean back, grab the popcorn and enjoy the show.

If we get lucky and upset the Broncos then in celebration of moving up to Elite I will want to share the joy with Buddy Ryan, Wisengrund, and JohnnyP. 3 of my biggest supporters in Elite.
