While I agree that bots should be stronger (especially at higher levels), I disagree with getting rid of MOTY. I think its a great mechanic with strong positives and negatives. Using MOTY in one game can easily lose you another game if you don't plan properly. And MOTY doesn't guarantee a win, in fact I suspect its benefit is overrated.

For me there is a grey area in tanking and likely losing.
Tanking is losing on purpose, which is in my world always a bad thing, since it does effect the standings and the playoff chances not only of your own team but many others. There were situations in the past where teams were basically set for a playoff spot, of only that other team would not lose with THAT many points and at the end did that other team play relaxed and or some other stuff because it had nothing to gain anymore an lost by THAT many points and some. Bad luck for the almost playoff bound team? I don't think so.
Playing backups and prospects is something which leads usually to likely losing, but sometimes the teams do win, so this is a grey area.

For me, losing on purpose is never a good thing, but of cause should there be room to make management decisions.

Honestly, I just ignore that topic, since I can't change it and it's not like 80% of all teams are tanking. These are just a few and most of them don't stay long enough to make a difference in the long run.

Still I'm beginning to see why teams might give up on winning and roll out their younger players.

A huge loss of morale yesterday after losing a Supercup game put me down to 72%. I can't see how that is reasonable. Now today in a league game which was forecast as 50/50 I have lost, largely due to that big morale hit and am now down to 64%.

This now has the potential to spiral out of control so already at this point in the season (and supercup) I am thinking of throwing it in and just putting out my youth team. If there is nothing I can do then why bother?

I cannot see the justification for a 28% drop in morale.

Done that but haven;t yet crossed my fingers. Will do it now!

Still think it's stupid though to lose so much morale.

Seems the morale hit even affects the manager IRL!
Not sure how Pete coded that into RZA
