Main games of the week:
Gdansk Redskins vs. michigan state spartans The undefeated Michigan welcomes the highest paid team. Gdansk had only one loss against the Goats and beated Chimera. It may be a interesting game, but I think Michigan will do what it takes to post another easy win. Michigan by 17 Idrosburghi Verona vs. Kasztelan Poznań This game will be a real test for Verona. They had so far only one loss against Naprzod which is definitly one of the top 3 teams of the league. Beside this game, they had kind of an easy schedule. On the other side, Poznan lost too against Naprzod. They also lost to Gdansk which is not scandalous. It will probably be a very close game. Verona by 4 Rosenheim Rangers vs. Dublin Dragons I will not lie. I have difficulties to see in both team real Bowl candidates despite their great season start. The Rangers surprisingly defeated Chimera which I think should not happen any time soon. Dublin had a tough schedule wining over SVM, Cats and Paris but lost to AGOZ. The winner of this game may win the credibility to be considered as a top tier team. Dublin by 6 Schrodingers Cats vs. A Game of Zones The Cats seems less strong than last season. AGOZ after a catastrophic end of season 23 looks sharp this year and built a qualitative roster (4+ millions salary). I think they will win this one and become and show they deserve to be in th PO this season. AGOZ by 2 Shizuoka Tigers vs. Cool-Runnings What a shame the Tigers lost half of their players at the rollover! They would have been a real candidate for the AC final. Now they will most likely suffer Cool's domination. Cool by 25 |

I was wondering the salary breakdown in our league. I quickly made two small tables to see the current salaries for each team.
Interesting to see that some team have real good results by keeping relativly low salary expesnes (Dublin, Rosenheim, Verona and even Michigan). However some other team seems to pay a little bit too much their players (Gdansk, Devon, KHT, The Firm, Maryland, Cougars and maybe AGOZ). I changed my coaches during the off season so they're about $1mil an u p d a t e higher. My core is super young so I wanted to benefit them with as much training as possible now while their wages are lower.
I've notice my LBs getting less sacks since I dropped the coach so I'm going to retweak slightly (and lower the wages) once the right coaches become available. Quite proud of my team considering the wages being spent! And I definitely don't consider myself a top team, I haven't made the playoffs before so I'm only hoping for a wildcard spot! |

really close game between me and osinho (Kasztelan Poznań) nice to see that I'm in the lowest salary spenders list. I had some money trouble in last seasons so I changed players and coaches approach as you can see. but dunno if I can be in winning season so quickly. of course the lot of BOT teams in past times give me a great help. Jean-Louis Millet was on fire tonigth. 5 TD and 82% completion. Not much you could have done Jagreen.
Impressive win from AGOZ. WorpeX and Cool had gave no mercy today. KHT is still unpredictable! |
