It seems with the double rollover, players that were promoted and signed to new contracts in a certain timeframe were lost.
I had promoted and resigned - Forest Owen Jerome Fitch Jamey Wooden Can this be fixed? |

I really think pete should give in to your request...but depending on how he acted in the past i am not sure this is his style to deal with appeals like yours Those guys were important for you, right? |

This a question of how to keep it fair. Basically managers are requested not to do the contract stuff "last second"...I'm thinking about to block any contract things from a few days before rollover...the PM each manager receives 1 week before was added with such a line...
However, it is somehow special. For me, the question is how to divide the real and reasonable requests from those saying "man, I had this monster with 700 speed and 500 teamwork, now he is gone...any idea? |

I see your point pete...things have to be reaonable for you as well...if you ask me: if there are "not that many" requests (what ever that means is of course up to you and your time), i probably would try to fullfill all of them since it is a special situation no one can be taken responsible for. If there are too many requests you IMHO should take action, if a manager would think about quitting otherwise since he got really upset about loosing "the future of the franchise" or something similar. One could also argue that you should "get to work" if a certain threshold of players is involved...e.g. if one has lost three or more players you try to heal the situation...if it is 'just' that one guy than you do not... just my 5 cents |

Good idea...you also could simply add an entry in the calender (like those that the transfermarket is closed...), so really nobody could complain - - - - i just read what happened to bwadders , in such a case i really would try to heal the case |

They were already gone when I logged in today The first 3 = my entire YA class Terranova is the only vet that I'd really miss although Storey was an interesting high str/carry, very low speed Trackstar WR experiment. How about a soft-block on late contracts instead of (or in addition to) an earlier deadline? Maybe ... Any player negotiating after the playoffs start asks for 10% more ??? |

In my opinion if the players were promoted and re-signed before the First season roll over you have every right to get those players back

For the record, I think its right to try and rectify any issues like this by giving the players back to the teams.
But I am a bit confused. Wasn't the DB rolled back to Saturday night? The roll-over started Saturday morning. If someone didn't sign their players until Saturday they were just asking for trouble. Or were these players signed on Friday and somehow the transactions were lost? |
