A close game for us today as the Shmetans gave us a lot of trouble. Only in the 4th Q did we pull back to get a win by 4 pts. They were unlucky in missing a 45yd FG. Then in the 4th Q they went for it on 4th down twice, succeeding the first time but not the second. So we were able to hang on for the win.

Wow, Assassinas not in the playoffs and Blood Kings also not in the playoffs.
It will be interesting to see, whether some of the new playoff bound teams will be able to challenge the veterans. |

Yes quite a surprising end to the season. The Aliens managed a perfect season and now get a week's rest and then look forward to hosting the Divisional Playoffs. |

Some upsets in the wildcard round.
We will see, whether those teams will pass the test against the top 4 teams of the season. Best matchup of the gameday is the Panthers - Aliens one. |

Have to agree on both points. A couple of the WC results surprised me. However, I would be tempted to pick the home teams in the next round but as Jack says the Panthers - Aliens game is the one to watch. |

All favorits did win, except the Aliens.
Close game, but the Panthers did prevail. Interesting Conference Championship games. All of the teams were at some point already members of the Elite league, except the Sharks. We will see, whether this will have an influence.

Congratulations to the Panthers. I thought we would have the edge as we beat them away in the regular season. It was a close game and after a good start by the Aliens we went downhill. It was probably decided by interceptions (we gave up 3, Panthers gave up 2). Not sure why there were so many as we both have great QBs!
Anyway my thoughts are if we were not good enough to win this we are not yet good enough for the Elite. So here's looking to next season. Well done Panthers  |
