I think he would be great at every level of the defense. I considered making him my number 1 player overall but ended up placing Perris (Arthur Lincoln) at the top of my board due to pending retirements in my back 7 and the fact that his physicals were better than all other defenders. He's playing CB ATM, but he'll be chasing QBs in a season or 2. I got Gueye (Trey Bowers) in the 2nd round. He was my 3rd ranked DL. He's not quite where Wee is due to EXP, but like Perris, his physicals won me over. Although they're not elite, he's a player that I feel has the potential of thriving at every level of the defense due to his high Int & TW. He's a rotational player ATM, but I'm considering playing him OOP for EXP. Good luck in the 3rd round everyone  |

I had Sir (Kaynard Nelson) top of my board despite his INT for his physicals and his twin traits, but as I said Wee was 2nd and Perris 11th. Hloch (now Jack Hampton) was 3rd, and I do wonder if I landed both those guys because either (a) that those drafted ahead of me don't draft as well as those further down, or (b) nobody wanted those sub-30 INT guys anyway.
Either way I'm very happy with it, INT isn't hugely important for D-linemen and the good physicals (Nelson should be 45 STR, 50 SPD; Hampton is capped at 50 STR, 42 SPD) and twin traits for both should make them quality starters. Still have one of my top ten and five of my top 20 available. Again, lot of the teams in the 20-32 places picking guys I had ranked highly, so think I'm doing something right - maybe rankings more than actual picks! |

Also got to give props to the new owner of the Blindleia Norsemen, who took Wang (my 2nd overall) at 5 and Archibald (my 5th overall) at 37. Nice work!

Picking 29th I was worried with I was going to get but:
1st - Santos DL with Str 46 Spe 47 and 5% trait Brickwall and 2nd - Myeong WR with Spe 50 Overall they will slot in nicely and hopefully I can win a couple of games in 1.1 however not much left picking 4th last in 3rd round..... |

amalric7, I agree. Intelligence is something that I don't normally calculate for DL, but I'm moving off that stance. I prioritize defense foremost. In a close evaluation, I elevate players with multi-positional versatility. Although I didn't have Sir as my top DL, he was still highly rated for me. His positional skills are top 3 at his position and top 15 overall. With his talent, they're going to cap high. That alone puts him ahead of a lot of players.

I wouldn't use more than 6 max. Otherwise you won't gain enough experience with them. In this game, you REALLY have to try and use as few subs as possible. Believe me, I learned that the hard way. Lots of 28 year olds on my team with only 2.5 Experience.

Tough loss yesterday. But didn't expect to play so close. If we can play so close to Berlin Iron Tigers, i really want to win. Can't expect to win when i have my punter in fraining to become kicker. thats is one of the reasons we lost. Good game eitherway

That's probably smart in the long run, I considered doing that with my kicker, but I found a young punter on the TM and snatched him up. I might cross train him for the future.
