I'd make him a WR personally Do WR block on running plays? Seems a shame to waste his blocking skills. They do not. But unless you're specifically building your playbook to utilize TEs, they don't get much action in the passing game. A waste of such a great player imo. Plus, TEs don't appear to be a position that benefits from high physical stats. |

I got a 50-50 guy, 50 STR and 50 SPD (and track star!). At pick #13. So obviously very happy. But a little bit confused where to play him. Any thoughts? Theo Vernon, 23yo, 3,5 * EXP Came into the league as LB: 31 TACK, 31 POS, 25 VIS, 10 A-TOG-. INT 40,8, TW 24,2. Obviously with his STR-SPD you would love him at MLB, but i'm afraid his INT is too low. So currently I'm leaning to CB... OLB he will be a sack machine and still be able to make interceptions Last edited on 2016-12-22 18:56:52 by spartans11 |

Always nice when you're a NY Giants fan of a certain age, and you pick up a back called Joe Morris.
Okay, he's a FB and he had a different name when he was picked, but when the random name generator throws up something like that you gotta think karma! |

I wouldn't waste any 50/50 guys at DE. My "best" DE (50 STR, 49.2 SPD, 44 Tackling, 43 Footwork, 40.6 Vision, 38.9 Agility, 39.7 Intelligence, 43.5 Teamwork, 4.5 Experience), doesn't do any better than guys with half his speed. I think the tweaks Pete made have made speed much less important for DE (which is probably reasonable).

You're not using speed when you're moving laterally, or for your first few steps in any directly really. First few steps is acceleration, which is better captured by agility than speed. Lateral movement is just plain agility. One of the reasons that it makes zero sense that speed is such a big factor in QB sacks, in this game. A general misconception of what speed is.
