Helloooooo and welcoooome back to a new season of the Game of the Week show. Tomorrow season 24 starts in earnest and we can't wait for the action to get started!
In this show we are turning our focus to a dormant giant in Xu Da who travel to The Squales of BEACH who have established themselves in Thunder 1.1 but have yet to take the step to the next level. Will Xu Da start to reclaim their former glory or will Squales start on their path to a winning season? Our beat writers phoned me yesterday that they've had enough of being at home with their families which is good timing as they have to get on the road again to hunt down managers for a quick interview. |

Our beat writer caught up immediately with SSNIPER of The Squales of Beach as he lives close to the stadium, here's is the interview:
Question 1. The last three seasons you've had perfect .500 seasons ending all with a 8-8 record. What are your expectations for this season? I hope just one Victory almost. Question 2. Xu Da must return to their former glory at some point. How concerned are you that this will start to happen against you this week? Xu Da is a very good team and i hope begining the season with a Victory but i think that it very difficult. Question 3. Is this a game you need to win in your own mind and what do you think the key deciding factor in this game will be? i think that the new players of the draft can the difference during the keys moments of the match. |

Your week 1 matchup against SQUALES of Beach will be the Game of the Week! I'd like to be able to add a few questions for each owner for the piece. If you get your answers back in time I will get them in. Question 1. You've been in rebuild mode for a few seasons now. Will we finally start to see the real Xu Da again this season? We continue to develop our young talent and we want to give them playing time. There is no pressure for wins this season, and we are still focused on building the foundation for the long term. I think the results will start emerging in the seasons to come. Question 2. The AC South was very competitive last season and this season promises to be the same. Why don't you give us your prediction of how the rankings will be at the end of the season! These predictions are always difficult to make. There will always be some surprises, and that is why we play the game on the field. We will take each game one at a time, and go from there. Question 3. The SQUALES of Beach had a hot cold season last season but still could be a dangerous opponent. Is this a game you need to win in your own mind and what do you think will be the deciding factor. We try our best in every game, against every opponent. We focus on playing our game, on Xu Da football. We hope to run the ball, play good defense, and excel in special teams. If we are able to do that, that should be good enough! |
