This was the idea...but at a different level. We won't touch the personal decisions of a a manager he was doing for his team. So we won't touch the income from tickets, we won't touch the income from the fanshop - in a negative way. We could add some ticket/fanshop sales based on the Commissioners strength...However, the basic rule for me here is: The Commissioner won't make it worse, never ever. This is just to protect single managers of a league from worse decisions or...kind of mobbing by all other manaagers of a certain league. Again: worst case is "nothing to add"..

I thought more in the way, commissioner A earns +% of fanshop incomes of all teams in the league because he sales some more fan articles in the internet. Commissioner B earns +% of maintenance expenses of all teams of the league because he gives the contracts to a friendly construction company, for some financial attention. No changes for each single team, instead an additional income (-his salary) for the league fund based on the incomes or enxpenses (or maybe injuries if possible) from all teams of this league. The tax thing could add a little to the Commissioner...imagine, you would have too much gains in a season, you could go for some charity, and send some of your gains to the Commissioner to raise his budget. You could make this anonymously, so nobody knows who is the big spender...and the Commissioner could raise his activities, and create more return with doing so. Maybe the return from the Commissioner to the teams is even tax-free...Maybe the point within the season plays a role here as well, so if such a additional budget was spent before point X of a season, it would have more effect...

Maybe Commissioners could have different types of bonuses, not only financial because it would force us to make hard decisions? Here are a few examples: Commish A: Revenue oriented - will bring the league more money Commish B: Training oriented - will help players train faster Commish C: EXP oriented - will help players gain EXP faster Commish D: Fitness oriented - will help players lose PC slower Commish E: Coaches oriented - will give each coach in the league a small bonus to on the field boost Keeping in mind that all of these options should be more or less equivalent so that there is no "best way" of picking a Commish. |

Maybe it is too complicated to balance it out but I would trust Yoda enough to find a solution |
