Just for clarification - not meant to be part of the discussion. And moved to discussions as well

C. It is just ONE out of the facilities, since they are all quite comparable in terms of costs

Increase of limit: a manager can do this on his own...just set yourself kind of a limit to to go below. The 500k are the hard limit set by the game...soften these limits means a disadvantage for managers doing their finances right, at the end of the day.

More weeks: same as increasing the limits

Which player gets cut: the most expensive one. Since you are not able to pay your guys, you need to act. And this means, make fast and strong decisions...the game helps you here, because cutting some youngsters won't help anyway..

Buy him back: no, only if he was chosen to become a Free Agent by the game...

With my opening post my point was to give feedback and my personal experience and propose an overview of the financial warning process and rules.

My opinion is, that many of those measurments are irreasonable.
If you make any modifications, - and oc. it is up to you if you want - I do just propose modifications to be objectively reasonable not to benefit myself.

I am not an intense RZA manager, so I do not create spreadsheets on week-to-week incomes and expenditures.
I knew I needed to cut some players and have done so in advance, but tried to keep the most of them possible to maintain squad strength. Therefore I reached ca. 0 balance.
From this point it is hard to recover, bc the very "small" -500k treshold comparing to a weekly 6M expenditure. Only spectator income helps.
If the best players are cut and the morale is decreased it makes winning more difficult and no. of spectators decreases.

If credit interest is introduced I do not see the reason, why highest payed players can't stay.
Deactivating facilities, zeroing YA extra TP seem to be punishments for inaction. Financially they do not mean anything.

Once more, and final this time: if the -500k is too less for your personal taste, just set yourself a higher one...It is not the games fault, it is the managers...

not the most seasoned veteran of this game but i would like to add that due to financial penalty and rich bastards in this game the Best WR in the World in season 23 I drafted a season ago is now sitting on the bench on an 0-4 squad

I don't understand why there isn't some kind of grace period to renegotiate the cut players coming back to YOUR team that you drafted them from. this game is harsh enough to get out of penalty as is, your only disheartening new players by letting the richer players snag up whole teams due to not knowing the games mechanics all the way. its extremely frustrating.

If morale's a thing for teams why not make it a thing for players as well? Glen Peltier wen't from winning awards to being a scrub and going nowhere and not only is there nothing I can do it just seems like there should be at least a better way to keep this from happening to more new players like myself.

(BTW where is the trade button at?)

Currently there is no trading. Due to the fear of exploitation/cheating

This is a game. If it frustrates you, you should not play it. Seriously.

We ALL started the same place as you. Well kind of. From what I understand younger teams than me (I started in S15) gets to start with a lot more money than me and the older teams..

Which should be easier than lots of us had it.

yeah, but the reason of this thread is because of the process still being lacking in regards to new players who may not be as cognizant of the ins and outs of a glorified excel spreadsheet sim

having more money doesn't really erase not having a warning or some kind of heads up imo and it doesnt solve the unbalanced penalties that are involved when your in debt and trying to get out.

nearly 600 managers can handle the finances, and do very well...just a few cannot - due whatever reason...of course this has to be the games fault.

Well if all your interested in doing is slamming our "glorified excel spreadsheat sim" than I do suggest you go find another game for your fun.

As for the penalties. Don't go in debt. I didn't and most new managers didn't either. I'm guessing you didn't manage your finances very well.
