What seems funny, according to the discussions, the tax was invented to hit those rich old timer teams.

I am a relative young team. All my available money goes into my team. To be competetive in Elite, I have wages for players and coaches, which drive my yearly costs higher, than my normal yearly income. To not go into the red, either I need postseason games or sell some players from my YA. A rich old timer would simply use his bank account.

so this new rule makes it tougher for me to compete with those rich old timer teams.

I am not complaining. I understand the intention of the rule, but when money is tougher to get, existing bank accounts just got more value

haha yes, and there was this exact discussion a few years back in this very forum. unfortunatly taking a piece out of huge accumulated savings might be the only way to really deal with the issue but is considered too "political" and "merkel-style" if I remember correctly I still think we should agree on a certain bankroll beyond which further accumulation would be considered as "not in the interest of the game". like do we want teams to have more than say 500 or 600 Mio. on their hands to spend?

I also reinvested all my savings into the roster and was able to save up more than 200 mio only once, but that was only after a big sale because of relegation from the EL.

Once more: #ICannotFixThePast - but I can try to fix this for transaction from now...and no worries, we will find ways to hit these huge old bankrolls, no matter if the managers in question like it or not...and, btw, I don't care if someone would call me a communist or something similar

I would image after while the tax rate may come down some. As this is a lot of money out of the game quickly

? Not even near to that...There are teams making 1 billion $ on the market by selling players. Now these teams would have worst case ONLY earned 500 million.

If I find any time soon, I will try to find a tear in my eyes for such poor, poor guys...might take some time

See, if this tax prevents one manager from buying players just to sell them for profit, I'm happy with the tax. This is a Football sim, no trading sim...
