“A learning experience is one of those things that says, 'You know that thing you just did? Don't do that.”
“Would it save you a lot of time if I just gave up and went mad now?” "I refuse to prove that I exist," says God, "for proof denies faith, and without faith I am nothing." - Douglas Adams. Drop mic. |

If convincing everyone that he doesn't exist is the devils greatest trick does that mean God's must be the opposite?

Playing and winning is great fun, but playing and losing can also be interesting. I've been in RZA for many seasons, almost since the beginning of everything, and I've seen a lot of teams that (almost) always won and when they have entered a negative spiral, abandon the game. Some will say "this is a game and people do what they want", and it's true. But every time, in our society, there is less tolerance for failure, less tolerance to fight to reverse a negative situation. Getting to the top, falling to hell, getting up and fighting to get back up is not only a good challenge in online games, but also a good lesson in life. Just trying to get back to the original post. I agree 100%. I have taken my team from the very top of our game to the very bottom (I had a 100K salary two seasons ago). I am currently doing great with my rebuild and hope to get back to Elite League soon. The rebuild has been a great challenge and also great fun. |
