There's 3 halves to the first round?

I think you guys got what I meant.

Anyway, since my prediction, I'm not sure when McCaffery or Cook will be selected. Originally, I thought Cook's game film was impressive enough that he would have been no less than the 2nd RB taken, but his athletic testing appears to be pushing his stock down. I still believe that he's as good as his film, but I can't rank him confidently anymore.

McCaffery performed very well in testing and it appears that his stock is rising as teams fawn over his receiving ability. I believe that he is the best receiving RB in this draft and is probably the most natural pass catcher at the position in many, many years. Unfortunately, I don't know how to measure how valuable this makes him overall. My fear is that he becomes a "touches" RB. I hate this designation as it is often used for players that lack prototypical size. It is true that McCaffery is slight, only about 205 lbs, but I would hate to see him drafted in the top 10, his current rumored draft position, and only see XX touches per game. Whatever that number is, it will be unsatifactory because the connotation is that he's being limited in an effort to keep him healthy which I think is an absolutely ridiculous concept considering the nature of the RB position (they all get hurt at some time or another).

I think of McCaffery very much as a scheme fit, if he lands on a team that utilises the RB a lot as passing options out of the backfield and will move him to the slot and use him that way he's worth the pick.

The alternative is three wasted years in the wrong scheme then a trade for a fifth round to the Pats then five years of mind blowing production under Belichek!!

He is the ultimate offensive weapon in that draft. He'll have success anywhere he'd go at least as a special teamer first. He is a Tyreek Hill kind of big play waiting to happen while being at least a decent running back too. He might also be the best route runner of this whole class (which let's be honnest is quite weak), which is much more than Tyreek Hill had going for him. There's no predicting where he'll go but I love him as Darren Sproles 2.0 in Philly. I think he can find a lot of success behind an OL that's awesome at full strength with Lane Johnson.

After everything that has happened (offseason moves, the combine, etc.) I think the Ravens will go with either Mike Williams, Corey Davis, or John Ross. If any of those guys are available, it would be hard to pass them up.

Somehow the ravens have to go that way. Without Steve Smith, Kamar Aiken and without a reliable tight end (those who show up can't stay healthy) they need some pass catching help. I'll go either WR or David N'Joku depending on what's available when they're on the clock. If OJ Howard falls that low it'll be a crime to pass on him.
For my team I'll be thrilled to see the Steelers trade up for Hason Reddick who I think is gonna be a special player with outstanding leadership and can grow in his role with James Harrison showing him the ropes. I think they're too wise to make any expensive trade but for the right price they should consider it. Otherwise the best pass rusher available, maybe even Reuben Foster if his draft stock plummits with the combine incident, but that's a long stretch.

I doubt OJ will fall to the Ravens, but the Ravens are almost guaranteed to not s e l e c t a tight end, because they already have 6 on the roster. The Ravens really believe in their young tight ends, and Dennis Pitta was finally able to stay healthy last year. I also think David Njoku would be a reach at pick 16.

I know what you mean but I doubt the ravens could afford to pass on Howard, in the event he would fall that low (i've seen him projected as high as 5 to the Titans which would make an incredible two TE set with Walker). They do like their TE in Baltimore but my point is that none of them is reliable in the passing game, and this class is terrific as far as pass catching TEs are concerned. And the WR are not that impressive. My favourite in the first round is John Ross but durability is a true concern. At this point they just need the best pass catching help available for flacco...

I think the Ravens may go pass rusher this year if one drops to them. Suggs is 35, they had 31 sacks last year and lost a couple of starting players from the front 7 in free agency to boot.

That said very few teams can afford to pass on pass rushers. The Texans might actually be the only one with JJ Watt coming back
