The Texans should definitely consider another pass rusher. If Watt were on the market, I believe that multiple teams would consider taking on his contract. They've already seen how their defense can perform without him. It would be wise to add another pass rusher to prepare for the moment when they need to move on from Clowney or Mercilus. This also would allow them to disperse money into other positions of need.

Well if they should draft another pass rusher, then what should the other 31 teams do?

With the game continuing to trend toward more passing, all other teams should consider it as well. Run a race to the QB.

It's true that pass defense is becoming more and more a key to the game and that it all starts with a good pass rush. Enough pressure on the QB can make almost any secondary look brilliant. And not everyone can afford like Belichick to build a defense that gets rid of guys like Chandler Jones and Jamie Collins without taking a major step back...

Texans front seven doesn't need to be split up at all. Once the Osweiller contract is cleared they will be a team paying peanuts for QB's for a few years.

Next season with Watt back they will be awesome but without a QB will still flounder in playoffs, I am struggling to think of many teams who were so obviously one player short of a genuine Super Bowl run, maybe the dome patrol era Saints as one that sticks out as that one player short....

If they're a QB away, they need to go get one today.

Romo didn't have 16 games in him and he knew it. Plus Jerry wouldn't have let him play in Houston...

Well, here's something we can all agree on: Ozzie Newsome is the best GM in league and the Ravens will have the best draft out of all the teams. They are the best at finding starters in rounds 4-6.
To name a few:
Alex Lewis, Guard, Round 4.
Tavon Young, Cornerback, Round 4.
Ricky Wagner, Tackle, Round 5.
Kyle Juszczyk, Full back, Round 4.
Tyrod Taylor, Quarterback, Round 6.

While I do my little "In Ozzie we trust"-prayer every sunday of the year, I doubt he's the best there is.

No doubt, the Ravens typically do a solid piece of drafting, imo we rarely see the big star power players coming our way. Especially on offense (QB, RB, WR) it's sometimes hard not to think if some random former Colts or Patriots FO-worker could come in and help.

Defense and the OL (and TE's) seems to be going decent. We always seem to get solid contributors, even if it's not always pro bowl caliber from 1st or 2nd round.

Pair Ozzie with someone like Dimitroff who seems to really have a knack at picking out which top 30 player will do good and it could be really fun to be a Raven. Ozzie seems to be the master of the middle rounds. Along with that hoodie fellah and old silver from the West coast birdies.
