The NFL season goes until the Super Bowl was played...this is what we call season rollover.

NFL players who miss the playoffs stop getting paid that day.
Since week 16 in RZA there have been 6 updates. Forcing teams to pay retiring players for 6 updates when they are not playing official games makes no sense to me but I'll leave it there as if you do this it will actually help my team. |

OK, let's asume we stop them getting paid. We would have to stop income from any tickets as well. Once more it is not possible to transfer real life 1:1 into RedZoneAction.org...

No, I actually feel like I have not been able to express my point in a way that resonated with you. I think this will slightly widen the gap between the haves and havenots and sadly you've not addressed this point which means I didn't convey my thoughts clearly enough.

I compared team A in RZA to team B in RZA If we made RZA to be like NFL, qualified veterans would cost a rest of the season salary when they are cut after the first game and players would get Extra Salary in the playoffs and higher salary in the regular season. Pete would need to code like a madman if we want all these rules in there. I like the proposed change. I do cut my retirees the moment I play my last game and feel bad about it (how can you feel bad for virtual players  I am officially a nerd )
But I do it because I compete against other great competitors and I need to get the most out of all my resources to have a chance and money is a big part of RZA. But if all teams need to keep all retirees for the whole season, nobody has an advantage, I will plan accordingly and finally be able to fill my Hall of Fame  |

I think I'm a bigger nerd, keeping every year 1 player who, now comes the bad part, EARNED his spot in the HOF the most and does allow him to retire regularly.
