Tatatata. The rules are clear. To be valid, your vote must integrate 3 Teams for the nomination and 2 for the Election.

then let's change the rules
3 and 2 is the upper limit, not mandatory to be a valid vote. If I truly feel there is only one team worthy of consideration, my vote should count. Last edited on 2017-03-29 05:30:09 by JohnnyAce |

By keeping 3 and 2 votes, I see the opportunity to do not vote only for the obvious candidates. Currently many of us voted for current managers only. They are of course legit, but once they will be all inducted, it will be the perfect time to honnor our previous glorious managers. Even if most of us never played with them. That is also the purpose of the Hall of Fame and actualy one member of the Committee already decided to vote only for retired managers.
Also there are managers that do not have a great palmares but that can be part of it. Some of them are around for a very long time which is kind of a fame too. Some others contributed to the league by helping rookies or messing around in the forum. And by the time all the obvious Hall of Famers are inducted, some current managers will have risen and became legit too. Like I say at work, trust the process. |

Right, so the process is fixed and non-negotiable. I think you are a bit territorial on this, thus I may choose not to participate. Still, I thank you for your efforts.

At the end the result is likely to be identical. This being said I really like the initiative by Cyril and I hope this project will go on for a long time.
I have the feeling that one day the Goats will enter this Hall of Fame. But it will not be easy and the Misfits, the Celtics, the Soartans, the Foxes, the Cool Runnings and others will see to that ! |

I agree with the Mystics. It should drop to just 1 team a season after we get a good collection (8 teams i'd say). Sea Devils hasn't changed much over the years. Its the same teams winning over and over again. If we keep doing 2 teams the Hall of Fame will start getting oversaturated with crappy managers like me.
Then again I wasn't active when the first election happened so I didn't even vote. My opinion really shouldn't matter. Last edited on 2017-03-29 11:44:37 by WorpeX |

I'm also in favour of 1 team per season, unless the two top teams have a similar number of votes.
EDIT: After reading the HoF details, I'm ok with how it is currently structured "Until the Hall of Fame has less than 6 team inducted, the second team of the vote will be inducted too if it gets at least 10 votes. After, the second team will need at least 15 votes to get inducted." Last edited on 2017-03-29 13:47:12 by Firenze |

Dropping to one team after a couple of seasons is already planned. However I kept a window in case among the 5 candidates 2 are very above so they can be both inducted.
I invite you to have a look on the rules: HoF Rules wrote:3/ The Team with the most votes will be inducted. Until the Hall of Fame has less than 6 team inducted, the second team of the vote will be inducted too if it gets at least 10 votes. After, the second team will need at least 15 votes to get inducted.
If this rule was applied in Season 24, only Leeds would have been inducted. I think it is a good compromise. Now Jonnhy, nothing is really final. But for now, I think there is still many managers deserving to integrate the HoF. We can have the same discussion in a couple of seasons if you want and reconsider if needed. But once again, if you do not consider only the palmares, we will have enough managers to vote for for a looooooooooong time. Finally I really do hope to see you vote in S25. PS: please also understand that I do this for fun. I try to take into consideration all the opinions but at the end it is very difficult to satisfy 100% of the managers. PSS: Thanks a lot to the managers who cheered me up by messages or just by voting (even if the rules are not 100% the ones they would have picked ) |

I'm going to start my own HOF, with blackjack and strippers. In fact, forget the blackjack!
