With no playoffs to look forward to you are in some trouble now - unfortunately your case is a prime example of why common advice for new teams is to ignore coaches and the transfer market until you have financial security in the form of a big stadium and a cushion in the bank in case things go wrong.

Damned, Green Wave. JonnyP is rigth. The worst part being you've been warned already.

Green Wave, what does your forecast say your "balance on account at season end" will be?

THANKS STANFORD AND FIRENZE.

Johnny the forecast says -6.6 but that doesn't include any ticket revenue. My roster at 38 now. I cut everything out that I could.

It's not that I just ignored everyone's advice or the manual. I wanted to find a different way from the norm. You can't get a leg up sometimes if you don't color outside the lines. If everyone is playing the same way it doesn't seem as exciting.

While I don't disagree, building your economy probably wasn't the place to color outside the lines. Plenty other options for that.

Lamba is rigth. I know that spending the first season buiding a stadium is not very fun. But it is the best way to start. And during this time, you have still other things to do like working on the playbook and sorting your players to identify the ones you may keep and the ones you will fire.

Anyway, what is done is done. Now you need to wait until the draft. Your first draft pick will most likely be cut due to financial penalty. However your second draft pick will stay. As you are in 2.x, if you do well your homework, you will land a very great player that you can sell for several millions. You should also sell your third draft pick. Indeed, if you do not, he will be cut too as you will not have sold your pick 2 by the following finance update.

At the end, you may have wasted a draft, but at least you should start a new season with healthy finances and even get enough money to upgrade your stadium faster.

Also as soon as your finances get better, I would fire the coaches. You need either a good team or/and a good youth academy to benefits from them.

Depending on your supercup next year you might, to an extent, be able to fix this quite soon. Unlike league games you can change the venue for Supercup, as soon as the schedule comes out next season check this and play away at the big stadiums.
Do you have any young really strong of fast players? If so, bite the bullet and sell them.

Erm, thing is.... you did

What you did was actually quite normal - there are many before you who have dived into the transfer market and wasted money on coaches when they can't afford it - and there will be many more. Some will not know any better because they didn't bother to ask/read. Others will blindly disregard advice they are given, thinking that they know better.

They don't.

True, but you also can't get a leg up when you are bankrupt and your team is imploding.

There IS a right way to start in RZA, the options follow afterwards.... Leave the tactical variations until after you have a solid financial grounding.
