They went after McCarron because of Hue's experience coaching him in Cinncinatti. At 1-23 in his tenure, Jackson knows that he's going to get fired. This was a hail mary attempt at some wins to end the season. The front office was apparently celebrating before they sent in the paperwork, SMH.

Josh Gordon returning to practice on nov 20

I really hope for him and the Browns he can stay clean. I believe that, if he stays clean, he can make a big impact for the Browns offense.

They have to get an experienced QB in free agency! Kizer is improving but he has a long way to go..

1: What do you guys think? QB with nr. 1 pick? Rosen, Darnold, Mayfield, Jackson?

2: An experienced free agent qb?

3: Both.

I would wait and see how Kizer preforms the last games now that he finaly has some options that can catch a ball and make a play. The last 2 games I think he had showed improvement. Although the pick yesterday was a stupid throw (triple covarage)

And would another QB be the answer? I dont know. Kizer, Gordon, Coleman, Njoku, Crowell and Duke are still young and developing. And would be another rookie QB be the answer? Not sure about that. And wich vet QB's will be free agents? If they wanted one they should have taken Kaepernick (how you spell that?) at the beginning of the season.

I think they should seriously invest in the defence, and espacially the secondary, because they give up yards way to easy. Still dont understand why they let Haden go.

Haden's play had noticeably slipped in recent seasons, perhaps due to recurring injuries and/or the situation around him affecting his play. Moving to their arch-rivals has given him something of a shot in the arm, though he's clearly not the player he was in his prime.

As to the draft the Browns will have to decide if they stick with Kizer - in which case they can offer the #1 pick to the highest bidder and move down a few spots for multiple picks - or use the #1 pick on another QB (which I still think will be Sam Darnold). I'd put my money on the Browns taking the first option. Saquon Barkley should be in play for them, Crowell is no obstacle, but they still need help all over the roster.
