I'm obviously biased being a Ravens-fan... but it seems to me like Maclin has been incredibly under-used both in KC and Philly.
With the season we saw last year where Flacco threw more than ever before, I think a player like Maclin would look like a legit WR1½. |

He is a very legit receiver in my opinion and I like him in fantasy. That said I don't think he brings the leadership Steve Smith had. He's definitely filling a need and he's gonna have a big role to play if the Ravens want to get things going on offense. |

If you look at Dennis Pitta's numbers last season, you see what might need to be distributed to the other recievers and TE's now. That's if we don't get a running game going. While I'm a fan of smashmouth football, I think the best approach for the Ravens is one similar to what Patriots is doing. Rely on a mix of short/intermediate throws and some power running and mix it up with Joes big arm every now and again. He showed last season that he can somewhat carry the offense. I believe that if we move from run first to pass first and use rushing complimentary, it would actually improve the team as a whole. |

Yeah, but the running game sets up play action, which sets Joe up to throw a deep pass. Personally, I hope they go with a power run first and short/intermediate pass with the occasional big throw down field. Basically, I like your idea, but with more running. |

Find me a RB and I'll agree with you. As it looks right now, I'd go with the run 2nd approach. |

Whether run 1st or 2nd, they should still run a lot of play-action. I think it would greatly improve their offensive efficiency and increase their yards per pass.
What is the NFL's 'Corner 3' |

What is the NFL's 'Corner 3' yeah and Flacco is a very good play-action QB, especially in his year with gary kubiak for example Last edited on 2017-06-14 23:12:44 by Buddy Ryan |
