When digging through the rollover-logs, I found a good portion of managers abusing a function that was made to provide some comfort to users.
When managers missed to negotiate a new contract, the rollover logic was checking if the leaving player would cause a violation of roster minimums. If so, the players contract was prolonged for one more season. Now, we will change this so the player in question will leave the team in any case, and the team gets a much worse player instead to meet the roster requirements again. The basic story is: keep the gameplay clean. Thanks for your attention! |

Btw, we are talking about 25 managers who abused this one.
I'm really pissed now...and no, there is no need to post any excuses here or via PM, I won't read them. I could have spend much more time in improving the game. But due some sick human nature I spend much time on making things bullet-proof. How annoying... |

You will probably not agree but sometimes exposing the cheaters makes a difference.

So if a team had 38 players on the roster, no players were cut (as it would drop them below the minimum), and any expiring contracts on the team were renewed for a year at their existing salary?

I must say i am surprised this situation happened 25 times this season. I cant see the winning point in this strategy. |

Wow
Was this preventing old guys from retiring too...? I don't really understand why people don't just play games the way they are intended to be played... Instead of looking for loop holes, spend some time on your playbook |

I will try to catch these suckers, by raising the contracts worth to an appropiate level UPDATE: read two posts forward, it was not that way Last edited on 2017-03-12 18:12:26 by pete |
