Has anyone started negotiating franchise contracts yet?
I'm finding 4 years want roughly double the current estimate. It's my first season using HR, but I think that's much higher than in the past. Which you'd expect, obviously. On a further note, do we know the breakdown for experience premiums? eg: 5* is (or will be) 20% 4*? 3*? 2*? 1*? |

I used HR since my second season and yes it changed a lot, but it makes more sense now than before. In 4 season your player more than doubles his effectiveness. You will save less money, but it is a more realistic approach. Think about the fact that doubling the wages at significant skills level (let's say average 35 for example) means a +4 on average between the two top skills. It means less than a full season of training. philjc wrote:

This season I've seen that : 5* 5.1% (on a single contract) 4* 4.3% (on three contracts) 3* 3.2% (on the majority of contracts) 2* 2.1% (on seven contracts) 1* 0.9% (single contract) I've low numbers for a significant statistics demonstration, but I can only guess from my own numbers. Add to this that there hare half-stars that I've rounded down ... and you can see how useless are these figures. If the math is linear (and only Pete knows it) at the end of the process I expect : 5* 20% 4* 16% 3* 12% 2* 8% 1* 4% with half-stars in a linear range between the two nearest numbers |

Nice one Yashin, and I agree, I'm really surprised that you used to be able to sign franchise contracts so low. x1.1 for 4 seasons was crazy. Wish I'd switched it on sooner and reaped the benefits, but never mind.

I am absolutely lost when we have to come with numbers. I am trying to offer a deal to a 4* exp player and the % I used to use is obsolete now. I tried by touched (110% for a 4 year franchise contract at first) and now I only have two try left and I cannot lose this player. Please help me. |

Or you could switch of HR, then it gets a bit more expensive, but he stays.

try about 75% of what he asking for when he gave you a counter offer
he should sign with no issues. At that the highest percentage i have seen you could get him lower % but since you are short on tries Last edited on 2017-03-22 15:27:02 by andrew2scott2 |
