With the new change we won't be able to fire retirees after the first week of the season, why not extend this rule to all players? It seems weird to be able to fire all of your players whenever you want except the ones retiring at the end of the season.
I understand that it would make roster decisions more difficult but this seems to be the direction Pete wants to head in so why not go all the way? Thoughts? |

I see a big change here, which does prevent good roster management.
Many managers do clean up their roster after they did finish the season, with which ever game that may be. With this change, all activities would be focused on the 1 week after rollover and that's it. Transfer market would be only filled by the daylies pool players and no team can make room for them by firing or selling player during the season. I don't think this is the direction peter would like to go. |

I don't think this is the direction peter would like to go. I've only talked about firing players, if you want to sell them you still could but if nobody wants to buy your player you'd be stuck with him. I think Pete might see it as another hard decision we have to make making roster management more difficult which seems to be the direction he wants to head in. |
