Are you sure? I haven't checked but Pete said ""And no, you cannot see these details in the scout report or at the players detail page."

I think Pete is saying you cant see whether a player has offered not to retire for cash. If you scout Siegbert Wagner on the TM, it says he will retire. I wonder if the minimum bid should be halved for retiring players?
I.e. instead of 2.5m for high skilled players, its 1.25m. Kind of makes sense as the buyer will only get 1 year out of them. And fits with reality as value goes down for ageing players. |

Assuming that people are willing to bid on retiring players at full price? I don't know if there is an issue selling them or not to be honest, but I wouldn't be surprised if there was.
Eg. The player that you bid on to help out the guy missing the deadline. Maybe there would have been some interest at half the price instead of you having to buy him? |

Got a question for anyone: the player who is the subject has now joined my team. I do see a Cancel Contract button now. If I click it I get a confirmation that this will cost me about 600k.
Does this mean that he will leave the team straightaway? |

Weird, in manual it says: " Managers are not able to fire players or to cancel contracts on retiring players once the season began."
SOLVED: I pressed the button and "You are not allowed to release players in their final season" I hope the player hasn't realised I tried to do this though Last edited on 2017-03-20 06:14:31 by Cheesehead |
