Is there any way to identify retirees on the transfer market other than scouting them?

I haven't seen any info on the TM for that yet but I've only bid on one or 2 players over the age of 27 and I wouldn't bid on someone 30 or over for sure.

I believe that Pete wrote somewhere that even scouting reports don't tell you if a player is retiring or not.

So I don't think there is a way other than sending a message to the seller ... or maybe the seller was nice enough to post a message in the Transfer Market forum.

I think scouting always reveals whether they are retiring...whether they are on the Transfer Market or not.

I scouted a retiree and indeed the report revealed he is retiring at the end of the season.
