CB M'Hamdi is currently going for over 13million on the market. Someone want to loan me 20 million to get him back?!?! anyone?!?! lol

Don't be too sad, I just had a look at him and it seems like he is way overvalued.

His POS and AGI suck and his TW is too low to change anything soon.

Furthermore there is a high risk that his STR caps somewhere in the 36-37 range, making him worthless as a CB.

You will definitely find much better players in the upcoming drafts.

36-37 STR is worthless for a CB? That might be the only position that guy would be able to play just going by the STR alone.

STR is just one factor in many for a CB and imo not a major factor - my #1 and #3 CB's have capped STR at 36/37 and it hasn't stopped me from doing badly - got to balance it with v.high speed and good agility though

No worries, so is one of my starting Corners

@ Stanford, I surely need your crystal ball to determine when there is a high risk of a 36-37 strength cap on a 29 strength player

Also this is wrong to say a 37 STR CB is worthless.

But it is correct to say that Strength is important for tackling. I find I am generally happier when my SFs are bored.

It is important. But like 4 or 5 other skills. One underdevelopped skill does not make a player worthless.

I am not one of the top teams of the game, but I still compete pretty well in 1.1. And my CB are all from 35 to 39 in STR. As the other skills are OK, they do just fine.

A team in my league did great by switching a CB to QB. The player had 11 in passing. Of course STR, SPE, POS, AGI and VIS were good.

I do not think this a favor to say to rookies players must be perfect.

I agree. You can't expect every player to be 50s across the board. Just pointing out that Strength shouldn't be underrated for a CB.

Some mentors will go out of their way to make sure you are aware of this
