You missed last seasons schedule? Because they did play in 2016 also on 25th.
And don't forget to ask the NBA to move the games also, because they do play also on 25th. I can understand the intention, but be real, this is a pro sport and they need the visitors and they will try what ever is possible. It's not like the players will not get payed on that day, right? |

Is there a lot of players that say they don't like it?

I'm going to be a bit selfish on this one and say i love watching american football on Christmas day, it was awesome last year! Once it's a given they could play on Christmas day for any new guys coming in to the league then it's a choice they make when they sign up. Also if i was going to get paid that amount to work on Christmas day my wife would have me out the door for work before i'd know it! Last edited on 2017-04-23 21:22:39 by Jonny Utah |

Of course in principle i do agree with you, but if not seeing my family on Christmas day once or twice (it's not the same teams every year) was due to me having a job making millions that would sort them and my future grand children out for life then i'd feel it was a good deal. I'd also say "sorry kids, Daddy's gotta work Christmas day so you'll have to have your presents early", they'd be ok. Last edited on 2017-04-23 22:14:38 by Jonny Utah |

I am totally against any "dictatorship" here. If one says "family over job", I am fine with it. If another one says "job over family", I am fine with it as well. I can follow the arguments on both sides.
