What are your reactions so far? To my mind the Bears made a power move on the title of worst managed team in the NFL. They just killed all of Mike Glennon's confidence with that pick. He knows he's not meant to be the starter for long anymore. Plus I don't like the Trubisky pick. I think he has a very low ceiling.

Other losers to me are the Packers, who substantially only got a 4th round pick out of their trade with the Browns. Very risky pick that the Raiders that you can only hope are right on this one, same for the Bengals who took a huge medical risk when they have so many overall needs

Splashy first draft by John Lynch, the niners will have to work a lot on the offensive side of the ball in the next few days. They will probably get an OL tomorrow, or at least I think it'll be a smart move. The Browns had a big day too, I am happy to see they didn't fall in the trap that was laid for them by all NFL media and reached to a QB. I think they got the pieces in place and next year's guy is gonna come in a plug and play team if Kessler doesn't show up (or Osweiler but I'm sceptical). Overall big day for those teams.

I was happy about getting a Watt in Pittsburgh, he fits a need and comes from a good background, James Harrison might finally be able to retire. Big Ben will be still crying for his TE tomorrow, why not Shaheen?

With all the talent still on the board, especially at RB, tomorrow is gonna be exciting. Dalvin Cook must be disgusted by his bad combine performance, but it gives us something to look for in the second round.

And you, what do you think about your team's draft?

The Beats must have had concerns Trubisky was headed to The Bay, I am stoked that Lynch managed to get what he did from them to move down one spot and take the player he's been strongly linked with all along. Moving back in to the first to get Foster who I had rated much higher essentially just giving up one of the pick the Bears sent our way was a great move.

As for other teams, the Jets with Adams at pick 6 for my favourite player in the draft, good pick.

Johnathon Allen at 17 by the Skins, absolute steal.

Takkarist mcKinlry Falcons at 26, that D is going to be bringing some heat on passing downs now.

Lots of people projected the Bengals to draft Foster at 9. That would have allowed moving on from a hazard like Burfict. Going John Ross is a very risky move. Getting a WR with health issues when you're bleeding talent on OL and on defense, and your WR 1 struggled staying healthy last year... In the end steals for all highest ranked 'Bama players, with OJ Howard to the bucks...

Daaaaarned!

Had a 7-20 day yesterday and completely forgot about the draft.

Time to watch day 1.

Edit: or so I thought. Even though I have the biggest Gamepass subscription, I can't seem to find any way to watch the draft. I might just be tired (and/or blind).

Anyone?

Edit2: Appearntly it's on rerun on NFL Network right now, with a ton of commercials and stuff. WOOOOH!

Wow. Cleveland.... What a day if you keep in mind their drafst from the past couple off years. Not 1, not 2 but 3 impact players as far as I can see. 2 Good very good pass rushers and a TE who wont turn 21untill thus summer with enormous potential.

Go Browns

Epic draft day from the Browns! Love to see there plans unfold even more in the second and third round! You gotta love what their doing at the moment.

The most memorable moment came when the Bears took Trubisky with the second pick. The reactions from the Bears fanzone..... (Why???). The bears fans seemingly not happy with their own front office. The did invest a lot in this guy....

Starting with Brock under center? Seems possible! At least the Browns aren't a boring team

Let's go Browns!

I don't really know how to react to the Ravens pick. I never really looked into Marlon Humphrey that much. Ozzie says he was the best player available (even though Jonathan Allen, OJ, and Reuben Foster were available). Since he's good friends with the Alabama head coach, he probably gave Newsmen the inside scoop of those players. Reuben Foster probably will continue to have off-field issues. Jonathan Allen will probably be injury prone. And we just didn't need OJ with all the tight ends the Ravens have. So I think it was the best choice for the Ravens.

The great thing about the draft is we all analyse it now, then in five years time and it's revisited. Half the term the winners on the day are failures and everyone is singing praise for the bears for what turns out to be a cheap Franchise QB and smashing the Niners and Browns for fluffing on him !!!!

I do not agree. Watching live I saw the Bears fans eating their hats. Everyone in the room was stunned because their GM got played by a rookie. John Lynch and Sashi Brown had an awesome draft and manage to create great value for their team. The Bears would have gotten trubisky at 3 anyway so they gave pick for nothing. And they got a QB who has great stats against weak teams in 13 games. It's truly a headscratcher how they thought this was a smart move. It's panick and despair from a front office that does not even believe in the QB they just signed in the free agency...

yeah this pick and the trade up are pretty much the worst case scenario. say goodbye to getting any better in 2017, we will pick in the top 5 again next year
