If both starting tackles and both back-ups are still out Bears will have no problem getting to Rodgers, could be a very difficult night!

I've said it before I think oakbark but I would really like to watch a game with you giving commentary Speaking of which, did anyone hear Tony Romo's commentary on the Bengals/Packers game? I really didn't expect much, but he was actually pretty good. I loved it tbh. Didn't realise it was Romo until I saw him. Good analysis of plays as well and predicting what plays are likely to happen. |

Hearing forward, Tony is on air tonight!
Question from an enthusiast who never played the game: For an O-Liner, isn't it easier to block forward (running game) than to block backward (passing game)? With backup-backup Tackles in use tonight, I can imagine to see heavy running game of the packers, just to protect the passer indirectly in regard of the seasons long haul. Or do we see 2 or at least 1 TE as permanent extra pass blockers tonight? Aunt Edit: It's 94-94-6 now against the bears. Let's go for the first lead since 1933 of this rivalry tonight! Or do we see 2 or at least 1 TE as permanent extra pass blockers tonight? I don't have any experience as a player but as a fan I always feel like they are two different arts. Some linemen are better at run blocking and some at pass blocking. Some elite players are at ease with both, but you can see a preference with most, even though I feel like guards would be more important for run blocking as lots of NFL teams try to force their RBs to run between the tackles. Definitely when you're playing backups, you tend to have a more conservative play. I think we can expect extra tight end blocking (and Marty B is probably a better tackle than anyone else they have to play), and either buy time for Rodgers or try to run over the tackle. If not expect guys like Leonard Floyd to have a field day... |

Mission accomplished: 95-94-6 yeah, the bears gave their alltime lead away in embarassing fashion. the 4 TOs were just incredible, a sackfumble on the 7-step-dropback on the opening play - with a TE 1 on 1 vs. matthews - just mind-boggling. or glennon throwing an INT into double coverage underneath with a WR wide open down the sideline... no one can tell me that offense would be as disfunctional with the rookie at the helm. and if trubisky cant do any better, I sure hope we find out now, not next season... Danny Trevathans hit vs. Davante Adams looked really bad, hope Adams will be okay... playing hard is one thing, but stuff like that just sucks and as a bears fan I really dont approve of frustrations being taken out on the field violently Last edited on 2017-09-29 21:58:10 by Buddy Ryan |

GB dared them to throw, basically. But Glennon worked his way up to "competent." Pack need this half-bye in the worst way, this is just absurd, the injuries they've had. |
