No way à 32yo, 2 500 000 M$ Punter is more valuable than à 24yo, around 28 skills WR, yet their "starting price" would suggest thé Punter is far more valuable ! this is one problem on the RZA TM*

Agree there are too many variables and extremes for it to be used in its current state.....but it could be a good start off point and the mechanics I wouldn't imagine be too hard to adapt to, if you can get the increments and values right?

maybe 2 ys ago I was doing some calculations. I found the value of a player is not determined by his skills mainly. It is "point in season", and "number of interested managers" that create a pricing... I really doubt I could come up with a formula to create a fair price comparision between two players. On top, I found managers buy different player positions at different points in the season...

Yes, this sounds like finding excuses...but believe me, I was not able to come up with something I could call "halfway good"

Pete I am sure you could come up with something.
Then with help from some of the users.We could fine tune it. Into some thing that would allow trading. With in limits

I am great with numbers. And excel. I am sure I could come up with some thing. Base on my draft excel sheet. That would be great to giving each player a value. Base on potential,potion all weighted int str,spd,agl.3 top non physical skills,And age.

OK, if you want to accept the challenge, just try to predict the final sales price of a bunch of guys from the transfer market. I was never able to do that in a satisfying way...

i.e. a 25 yo player with 45 Str, 35 Spd, 40 TW and 30 POS, 30 FOOT and 30 BLOCK is quite ok, but a 25 yo player with 35 Str, 45 Spd, 40 TW and the exact same skills is mostly useless.

not true I'll give you example why I get to my pc tonight

Now plugin in his data this result for 2 25yo ol on my draft board.
45 str come to 34.25 while the 35 str comes up to 30.75. My board wants to rate the 35str guy as a rb.
I am not saying it would be for me. As it would take trail and error. And It can be done.
But before i could come up with anything. The thing i would need to know.

1 Whats a fair age range?
Need to defind an age groups

2 Does XP need to be a factor?

3 Do we need factors that vaule you the trade at very postion. Then use the highest one for trade.

many questions.

Again it could be done in a way that makes trade possable for one player for one player or two players for two players.
But one player for two player would become a probelm. With my methods
