I'd like to know how many owners plan to contribute to the fund before the start of next season. I hope that every team owner will contribute the full amount, but if not, please contribute what you can afford.

It seems to be a form of revenue sharing. The more money a league places in the media center, the more money each team owner receives per week. Right now there are 7 investors and the weekly payout is a bit over $1 million each week for the maximum investment amount, but it looks as if the payout can go much higher.

It's quite easy if everyone is willing to donate.
If you donate the maximum and everybody else does the same, you will get MUCH more money back. But if not all do donate the max and just a bit, it will limit the return until it is not feasable. So at the end it is a character issue and a trust issue. If just one team does donate, it is a massive negative, but if you wait for the others until you start donating, it might happen that nobody does donate. A region which has more me-first-managers will be less compatitive than one with more all-together-managers. One thing is clear: If you do donate NOTHING, you get NOTHING. From my point of view, there is only 1 thing which makes sense. Donate as much as possible, best the max of 50.000.000 $. |

Since I won't be in the league next season, I can only give an advise.
If all managers do wait for all others, this will not work. To make it easier I think it would be best to start planning NOW, means, you should think about what you can effort and what you are willing to spend and then post those numbers. You, the league, need about 50% of the money needed to get to break even, so don't play scrooge. |

OK I just spam-mailed every member of Elite-Monarch-Region, Monarchs 1.1 and every team in relegation and auto-promotion of 2.1 and 2.2 with:
Hi I'm Jack6 of the Leopards, right now in Elite, still I feel like a member of the Monarchs region. I hope you did yourself inform regarding the mediacenter change. If not, read the news, the manual and at best also in the discussion forum. The mediacenter will devide mid term the regions between non-interested-egoistic-managers and interested-sharing-managers. The regions which will get the mediacenter going every season will have more money income than the regions which do not get it going. Getting it going mean that at least 800 million are donated to the center start of the season or early in the season, so the donating teams do get at that point at least those 800 million back + roughly 10%, so 80 million. Every dollar more will increase the bonus up to 20% as far as the manual says. If the managers of a region/league do wait with donating money or even ignore that money, those 20% bonus will not happen and therefore only the sharing-manager-regions will have an advantage. What does that mean? In best case you are able to donate 50 million start of next season and if ALL do that as well, you get over the season 60 million back. The longer you wait to get to those 50 million, the less you get and the less do all others get. I know many are not active in the forum, fine. But I can't see, whether you do not read in the forum, so I (and all other managers) do not know your oppinion on that matter. Best case is, that all managers will donate. Who can't do the full donation should donate the best he can and then increase it over the season. Those who do not donate anything will NOT GET ANYTHING. If you have qustions, ask them in best case in the forum, or ask me. kind regards Daniel aka Jack6 I hope this will work. Girls and Boys, start communicating! By the way, you can see now in the LEAGUE overview -> dropdown for each region the mediacenter % of those regions. So after rollover you will be able to see, how good those regions/league are in media center. Remember, those with less than 50% are in minus, those with 50%+ do gain extra money! Extra money means stronger teams and more success. |
