Well that was a disaster of a 4th quarter.
Still on the plus side we kept it close for 3 quarters and looked good, but my lack of depth showed itself big style and we got mauled by the Dragons.

I also need to strengthen my offensive line, but I'm happy so far. If I can get 8 to 10 wins this season, then my goals will be completed. |

I went 3 and 13 in elite so you are on course to embarassed my elite attempt.

My Elite experience was 2 seasons 7-9 for 1st and 0-16 for 2nd. So 7-25 overall.

3-1 now after the win against the bot Sharks. The score could have been higher, but happy that my 2nd string players got some game time.
Next up are the BP Hawks, who I have never played, so could be interesting.  |

Independence Day coming up on July 4th here in the States
We don't get a lot of holidays...but the big ones people clear out of work like rats abandoning a sinking ship  A lot of people are starting today or tonight.
Then, of course, the 3rd is a day of limbo, the mail runs, but work is shut down. |

After clipping the wings of 2 hawks teams I played the Bourbon Street Brawlers and came out winner in a very close game. 31-30. The battle for the yellow and black was looking to the way of the brawlers after 2 fumbles in the 4th quarter it looked like the Hornets had blown it, but a spirited comeback gave them the lead with just over 2 mins left, then the defence caused a 3 and out.
So 6-1 so far and way ahead of my expectations for the season. Next up Spawn City Killers |
