Hell yeaaaahhhh.... we're back! Bigger and better then ever!
Following a survey amongst our viewers we've added some questions to increase the interview to a whopping six questions! 
To kick it off we are looking at a rookie team, the Whalers, who are hosting the Spitting Llamas. If the Whalers want to stand any chance of avoiding relegation then this is a MUST WIN game. The Llamas surely want to approve on their record last year so for them this fixture must also have been circled as a must/can-win game. As you can see this game is full of intrigues and hidden story lines. Just the type of the game we want to feature on this show. So, our beloved viewers, what do you think, score predictions, rumours, let's hear it all in the comments below. |

We met up with a fired up Herrpetllamas of the Spitting Llamas:
Question 1. Local media has been very critical of you using only a couple of formations and they are demanding that you open up the whole playbook. How would you like to respond to your critcics? If they don't want to be entertained don't come and see us ! We don't want to bore teams to defeat, we play with style. Question 2. You have made no purchases in the off season. Does this mean you are happy with the squad as it is now and are just looking to develop what you have? We relied too much on expensive, older players last season so now the younger ones have their chance to stake their place in the team, like Nico Saurez who is going to star for us this season. Question 3. What do you think will be the deciding factor in this game? The team have to lift their spirits, we are in transition and need players to believe in the Llamas ! Question 4. Give me a stat about your team that you think will matter this season? Finishing of drives. We generally move the ball well to then just fall short. But we have the talent to fix this. Question 5. What is your manager's philosophy for your team and what is your long term goal for your team? Football with a smile that's our aim. Forget grinding out yards, put the ball in the air ! We hope to cement our place in the division this year and then kick on up the league next season. Question 6. What feature would you like to see in RZA game engine that is not already in there? Is there access to league leaders tables ? I would like to see at a glance whobare the top players, especially if top quarterbacks and receivers were from the Spitting Llamas ! |

Tabula Rasa of the Harlingen Whalers took a large chunk out of his training session to elaborately answers our questions:
Question 1. You are on record as saying that you got promoted to early. Does this mean there is a plan A where you stay in 1.1 but also a plan B in case you do get relegated? I definitely am cautious about my expenses. I looked at how much money my team earned during the previous season in 2.1. During this season I had to build up my stadium. The money I put into my money is the kind of money I could spend when I was in 2.1. This amount of money divided by the amount of financial updates showed me how much I could spend on expenses per udate during a season in 2.1. I’m very strict in keeping below that level of expenses. Because of my (too) quick promotion I must keep my team financially in check to survive a division lower. Player-wise I kind of invested a lot in some older player because of their skill impact. I’m really just starting to expand my team on a broader level and í’m starting to look into investing in the youth academy. But because I want to (at least) struggle to stay in this division the acquisition of skilled players was a pure necessity. Question 2. Fans have been very excited with the signing of QB Christian Vázquez who seems to be a real prospect. Would you like to temper their expectations or fan their flames of excitement? Christian is definitely our go-to guy. When were in a tight game he is the one person to look at to lead our team to glory. He is the most talented guy on our roster and he must deliver his a-game in every match for us to stand a chance in this division. Question 3. What do you think will be the deciding factor in this game? I’m thinking that the defence will be key. Spitting Llamas is an opponent with a good amount of experience as a GM and he will be a formidable opponent. Whichever team can stop the attack of the other team will arise victorious. I’m hoping my offense can become more of a unit before kick-off. We brought in a lot of new faces and the guys have had some difficulty getting familiarized. Question 4. Give me a stat about your team that you think will matter this season? Team Chemistry! Because of the necessity to buy some new players the chemistry is quite low. When the guys start to form bonds and grow closer as a team that could really make an impact. At the moment I have 61 individuals on the roster and they must be grow into one team! There lies our biggest change of survival; cohesion. Question 5. What is your manager's philosophy for your team and what is your long term goal for your team? My long term goal is to become a healthy 1.1 team and to develop my own players. My youth academy is basic at the moment but I intend to build it out and start developing players through my own youth system. I like it when a team has a lot of homegrown players because they know the DNA of the club. Question 6. What feature would you like to see in RZA game engine that is not already in there? Trick plays would be great. I’m a really great fan of a good trick play and I would love to see this implemented. |

To Llamas look under Chronicles - - > Statistical Leaders set league to Thunder 1.1 and change your team name to all and use the drop down menu on Type to s e l e c t which type of stat you want to look at. |

Both team used MOTY on this game but the Whalers convincingly took down the Llamas.
Saucy detail: Whalers' player of the match is an ex-Llamas player. |
