It would be pretty cool if teams in each league were themed around the league name:
Dragons: types of dragons Claymore: types of swords and/or landmines Monarchs: royal titles Sea Devils: cool sea animals Galaxy: galaxy / space object names Fire: incendiary / explosive things Thunder: electrical things Admirals: ships / admiral names |

Maybe the divisions could be renamed to reflect the league names so instead of NC West or AC West they could be HMS Victory (Admirals) or the Loch Ness Monster (Sea Devils) etc
