What my stats show doesn't much support what you are saying. My 36 speed is NOT causing a sack problem or INT issue and D1.1 is highly competitive.
Speed is overrated for QB in my experience and supporting cast is vital in my opinion. |

Not quite as competitive as A1.1. There are quite a few teams in Admirals that blitz on every down... My supporting cast is comparable to yours, but speed is a BIG issue for my QB. Granted your QB is more experienced and mine is still a green horn, but if anything your QB is just covering up his weakness with his experience. We see a lot of bad advice pop up on these boards from folks using anecdotal evidence out of context. You are dominating your league in spite of a slow QB. There are many examples of slow QBs which show clearly that speed is a huge factor.

Not quite as competitive as A1.1. In fact there is a 3.1% difference on the ELO avg of both leagues. (Not quite a huge gap). IMO speed is a factor only if the pass rush comes before the QB sees an open receiver. My 46 SPD QB had very rough seasons just because my supporting cast isn't good enough. |

Offensive scheme is more important than QB speed. I play a short pass scheme out of FB sets with most passes being screen passes. My playbook is complex enough that my opponent is looking for the run on half my passing plays. You can bluster and pretend you have a magical scheme that is somehow more QB friendly, but fact is, it is not. The reality is that your QB has 48 Agility. Once my QB has 50 Agility he will probably also avoid most sacks. But QBs with 50 speed don't even need agility. The team with the least sacks (3) in Admirals 1.1 (with an ELO rank of 163) has a very average supporting cast, and a QB with 50 speed and only 38.1 agility. What that tells me, is that agile QBs are probably pulling away from sacks (but still getting into pressure), while Speed just magically makes QBs untouchable from the get go. |

Honestly pretty surprised anyone still puts credence in ELO given all the conversations we've had about it on the boards. When Beckos was still around it had Admirals rated significantly higher despite the ELOs being similar. The general trend of those two leagues is inverted. Besides competition is more about playing styles than overall strength. Sacking leader in Admirals 1.1 has 98 sacks, sacking leader in Dragons 1.1 has 66. Punches numbers would be more impressive if he was playing against teams that blitzed more often. And yes, your team is young and will take time to develop a more solid support cast. If you had a faster QB you would no doubt to better, but really you haven't given up many sacks (15) this year. |

LOL. Your comebacks are always so weak. Its like trying to have a conversation with a rock. Way too thick to actually hear anything anyone else is saying, or even look at the facts for what they are
