Did you ever wonder why our leagues are called Seadevils, Dragons of Galaxy...?
The managers here from the beginning and the ones with a strong Football knowledge probably know the answer. Personnaly I discoreverd it a few months ago, and I guess some other managers would be interrested in the explaination. So those names come from the Franchises name of the European teams taking par in the NFL Europa League: Amsterdam Admirals Barcelona Dragons Berlin Thunder Frankfurt Galaxy Hamburg Sea Devils London/England Monarchs Rhein Fire Scottish Claymores There was a ninth team, but I guess Pete just does not like Cologne:

The NFLE was my personal start into enjoying Football in a more deep way. It was broadcasted in TV, and therefore accessible without any further payments. So, when I had the task to name the regions, it was simply obvious to me to use these team names... I was using the names in the order of the appearance of these teams, but made a mistake. Should have been Centurions instead Sea Devils. However, once I made the mistake I have seen no reason to fix it...So it was not about disliking the Centurions |

I did not know it when I first signed up to RZA but Pete mentioned it in the forums a couple of years ago which is how I found out. Another good idea from Pete to name the regions like this

Sorry mate, it really just was the 1 hour earlier kickoff time that brought me to fire. And the only World Bowl I did attend was in Düsseldorf so there are some ties |

I thought it was kinda obvious? I mean, if you're a fan of a certain age that is.
I went to a few Claymores games, but being Scottish and joining the Claymores league seemed too obvious so I picked Admirals (random). |
