If -G.O.A.T- had to play in the same era as Marino, Montana, and Elway when defenders could hit the QB and DBs were allowed to hit WRs then I think you would have these 4 in the conversation. Manning and -G.O.A.T- both benefit from rule changes. If Marino had the current rules to play with they wouldn't need a punter.

Knowing what I know, if these 4 QBs were coming out of college under the same rules and it's my pick I would have a difficult time making that pick. Not sure why Manning is even mentioned, I'd put Favre and Rogers above him.

Shows what you know, Manning (Eli or Peyton, doesn't matter) has as many rings as Marino, Favre and Rodgers combined, clearly, based on that all encompassing statistic, those guys suck in comparison

And why Terry Bradshaw must be a Top 5 QB ........

-G.O.A.T- might be the best but because of the pussification of the NFL to protect offensive players and fine defensive players it's difficult to have the conversation of QBs in different eras. It's not -G.O.A.T-'s fault that he plays in an era where passing gets handicap bonuses. The handicaps for QBs is so bad Nick Foles had an all star season. In the 80s he is lucky to be a back up for a few years. Just waiting for the league to fine DBs with the temerity to intercept or touch the ball while it's in the air.

At any rate it's a shame that fans can't discuss who was the best as it's really a different sport. For Europeans it would be like comparing an indoor soccer star's scoring to the normal sport.

-G.O.A.T- doesn't even enter the greatest player ever discussion in football history. That's played out between Jim Brown, Lawrence Taylor and Jerry Rice.

JJ Watt could be in the discussion at the end of his career too.

He's made a damn good start, already first ballet HoF if he never recovers from injury. I really want to see him back to full strength and watch him and Clowney for a full season together both injury free.
